Diving for Treasure

A 60th birthday cake for a company director who loves going scuba diving. Little bit of humour as the treasure chest is "ye olde DEFRA treasure chest" as he works for a government quango! Had a lot of fun making the underwater elements and actually got to see some of these for real while snorkelling in Mexico a couple of weeks later.

Posh Wedding Cake

My best yet! a 'proper' wedding cake made for my brother-in-law and his new wife. Married in Mexico they wanted a traditional cake for their wedding reception at home with tropical flowers and chillies. The construction of the flowers seemed to take forever and were a feature of my dining room for about 3 months! I think it was worth all the effort.
